house update

With Josh working a ton of overtime and not having much time to work on the house we decided to hire out the rest of the framing. Its been really exciting to see our house take shape. Here are a few pictures of it coming along.
Here is the front of our house. It's not completely done yet. There is still a roof that goes over the porch, but they have started it. Grandpa told us when we were doing the second floor that the house was going to be so tall that we would have to put a red flashing light on top of it so that the airplanes wouldn't hit it. If you enlarge the pictures from the front of the house and the back of the house, there is a red flag on the very top of one of the trusses. That will have to do to keep the airplanes away for now :)

This is the entry way from the inside looking out.
This is the inside of the bonus room above the garage. We aren't sure what we are doing in this room yet, but figured we might as well put it there. Otherwise, its just a waste of space.

Hopefully everything will continue to go well and we can get the outside in before it gets too cold.
